Before you measure

Use a flexible tape, stand naturally and wear light, close-fitting clothing. Keep the tape level and comfortably close without pulling it tight. Record whether your measurements are in inches or centimetres.

There is no universal size chart for every designer or silhouette. A size label alone cannot confirm the fit; Veerpal will help check the specific garment.

The measurements to have ready

Bust

Measure around the fullest part of the chest with the tape level across the back.

Waist

Measure around your natural waist while standing comfortably.

Hips

Measure around the fullest part of the hips and seat.

Shoulder & sleeves

Record your shoulder width and preferred sleeve length. A well-fitting garment can be a useful comparison.

Kameez & trouser length

Note your preferred finished lengths and the shoes you plan to wear.

Body measurements and finished garment measurements are different. Tell us which you are sending, and mention whether you prefer a closer or more relaxed fit.

Ready-made, semi-stitched or custom?

Check how the individual style is supplied and which pieces are included. Some styles may need stitching or alterations. Confirm fabric, lining, dupatta, trousers, size options and any tailoring charges before ordering.

For a custom piece, review the final measurements and design details before work begins. Custom-stitched orders are subject to our final-sale policy.

Look after the details

Follow the garment’s care label first. Delicate embroidery, sequins, dyes and mixed fabrics may need specialist cleaning. Test care decisions with a professional when the label is unclear.

Keep fragrance and makeup away from the fabric. Store garments clean and dry, away from direct sunlight. Support heavy embroidery when storing a piece, and keep dupattas away from jewellery that can snag.
